Me and my iPad

I picked up this Ipad on Oct,2011,one of the best man made innovations(like Rajinikanth says to Aishwarya Rai in Endhiran).

• Design of an iPad is so stylish,which weighs just 601 gms..easy to carry isn't.

• Battery life lasts for more than 10 hrs with non-stop usage which is not possible with laptops.

• Touch screen is exceptional where you can smoothly navigate through the menu,no necessary for keyboard.

• With iTunes,you can download apps with just few secs. Many people advised me not to go to iPad,as they charge money for downloading apps,i do agree with them but they got N number of free apps. So I don't find it necessary to spend my money.

• Ebook reader is worth a try. However I always prefer reading from books but sometimes you can't carry book where ever you go and you don't all the books where you are.

• Its the most secure system than laptops,notebooks or mobile.

• I know some people must be cursing it,for its dysfunctionality in certain things like it doesn't support flash player and uploading and downloading certain programs or data.

Yessssss...i Luv my iPad more than my mobile n Laptop.

Horrifying Terror

Wondering about what am going to talk? Ok lemme explain and share what’s going on..Am going to share about the safety issues in South Africa,it doesn't mean all the other countries are safe. I felt less freedom over here than India and Germany(as far I have visited). Everyday newspaper tells you crimes and robbery going on near by area(off course our Indian newspaper shows similar stories (sorry incidents)).

Here am listing out what not to do here for safety-wise

1. First and foremost thing is you can't walk in the road,its like taking risk of your belongings and if u r woman then u have to consider yourself. Any time anyone from the bush or car can attack or keep you in gun point,take away all the things they want.

2. So do I mean car is safety-yes as no better mode of transportation like bus or train but heard lot of stories of car-hijacking too. Keep your eyes in all the directions to keep away from the eyes watching you.

3. I recently read a news,a family stopped in a highway to exchange their groceries to another car,in a quick span of time 3 people came from a nearby bush with Ak-47.One guy got into the car where all the things were shifted and took away, and the other two guys got into car and asked them to drive. So sad,those family members were pleading for their lives to those heartless creatures. They were reading to pay any amount of money for their lives,convinced them and took to the ATM centre,paid. They dropped them in the middle of highway with no money,car and cell phone...how bad isn't it.

    4. ATM centre-a place where you got to be very careful. This incident happened in front of my eyes,a person was trying to take money out of ATM,but he was having some trouble with the machine. A guy with decent clothes came and offered to help,he just took out ATM card and wiped in his shirt(inside where all the details about the card will be stored ) inserted the card in the machine(somehow got the pin no too) and fled away. Here he goes to another ATM centre and takes all the money with his fake card. Luckily that person came to know about this trick,immediately called his bank operator to block his card. Many other tricks taking place to grab the money.

    5. Home Burglary-which is common thing taking place here,no matter how secured the Estate or house with Alarms or security. These all happens because of the absent minded or ignorance of keeping doors and windows open.

6. Car lock-Check your car whether you have locked it properly even though you use remote locking button. Some people open when they are far away,quickly the culprit gets into the car from other side of the car before them and puts them into gun point.

Once i saw kept his car keys in the car door itself by absence,its like tempting thief to come and steal my car,so be careful folks.

7. Internet Scam-As the technology improves,the crimes too. Creating Fake holiday resorts where many people pay deposit and gets cheated. Or getting high money for low grade rooms. So its better to go through reviews and many sites before you reserve it.             

             

                  I guess I have listed most of them,so be prepared before you visit this place. If your cautious then you are safe. Otherwise South Africa is a beautiful eco-friendly country with wonderful landscapes,best climate all the year,well maintained game reserves,perfect roads and rules all over the country.

Reading my mind

Got confused reading the title..huh..am in that state already. When I started to write blogs,I get millions of thoughts going inside my mind and sometimes I feel void or even confused about what to write,will it be silly. So I was searching in the net trying to read other blogs so that you get some idea...But again as u get millions of choices,u get confused again. Life itself is a confusion,when u r kid...you get confused about the selection of toys then when u r grown up,selection of studies or field then selection of job. During marital stage,selection of partner is a confusion then kids and hence their studies...it jus goes on...huh..i dont want to confuse my audience..jus relax..enjoy ur day by having delicious pizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzaaaaaaaaaa.

My first Flight experience

               I guess everyone on earth wish to travel in flight..same dream I had...yes my first flight was on December 2005.I was travelling from chennai (India)-Stuttgart(Germany).My flight timing was 1:30,outside it was pouring heavily..yes its a monsoon period.

               Departing from my dear ones,i was heading towards check in counter all alone having my passport and ticket copy @ 12 am itself. As its first time,i was having a confusion with check in baggage and hand luggage,

finally I put all the bags in the check in and I was carrying a backpack along with my heavy jacket (as it should not add to my luggage). Offcourse my baggage was beyond the max wt,so happened to remove some food items :( then reached the boarding area...waiting for the call....now the time is 12:45. I was in half sleep waiting to board..but due to rain,flights got rescheduled oooufff..and my stomach started grumbling @ 3...still no mood to eat anything. Thank god,we were provided with snacks from airline authorities then finally @4 they announce the call.

          Yes I happily landed into the flight,was able to meet my expectation like u see in movies. luckily my seat was near the window..but I could not see anything as it was dark outside and the rain was pouring. Within 10 to 15 mins after the take off..i went to sleep without my knowledge. Morning wake up call by airhostess with wet tissue....then after fresh up..,fresh juice along with breakfast...had it by enjoying wonderful view above 33,000ft and around 9am(CET) reached Frankfurt and comes another nightmare.

                As there was a delay in my first flight....i missed my connecting flight from Frankfurt to Stuttgart, so looking for the next flight....Mean while I must mention

Frankfurt Airport...Wow it was really lovely and majestic,buses inside the airport to pick up n drop passengers. I got some friends who are travelling to the same place..,many people were talking only in German(Deutsch). Grabbed a sandwich and quickly landed into my next flight. This flight was small and journey was only 1-1/2 hrs. After reaching my final destination,i soon grabbed my luggages from the counter.

      At the entrance,i was welcomed by my loveable husband with beautiful flower bouquet

Ragging

           This is a fun topic as you all know..yes am going to share my experience in my college life. Every students have their own dreams n fear as they enter 1st year of college life. As we were staying in Hostel,we had more fear on ragging. So on every day after we finish our class,we head straight to the hostel in order to get escaped from the seniors but some times you can't avoid getting hold while going to the library or internet center. Likewise I got caught on one day,asked to salute and say Good Morning..etc..we managed do as much we can....

obviously in a gang of boys they must be a flirt..so somehow managed to escape. At hostel,senior girls haaah... u really cant escape from them,they behave like typical rowdies...So it just went on..And as in every college there comes a bold girl. Yes..she was ragged by a set of seniors and they called her spring hair as hers is a curly one. She went and complained to the principal and there you go..she became popular star in our college. Seniors too was getting scared to continue ragging as it may affect their academics.

                       Then comes 2^nd year of college life,at this time we get settled n come out of home sick and ready to welcome our Juniors. We didn't try ragging our freshers as we got our seniors who can take care of.

                         And there comes 3^rd&4^th year of college life,where you feel like you are everything in college. So we started doing ragging(but only in a friendly way)and enjoyed n got some good junior friends also. I really wanted to share this unique experience...One day on a good sunny evening,i was having a chat with my friends,we were bored so thought of doing some ragging. My friends were bit worried as they should not get caught of any staffs or spy. Somehow convinced them and waiting for a perfect person to attack...there comes a guy..he was young good looking neat guy and also looked innocent..So i called him....

Me: ”Oi Come here”

Him: “yes”.......

Me : “Wats your name?”Cant you see seniors sitting here”

Him: Am 'k'

Me :”Wat are you dng at this time?”

Him: “Am taking class”

Me: Whaaaat

Him: Am working as a staff in Polytecnic

Me: “Show me ur id card”

  He showed and was smiling at us..oops wat in the world am I ragging a teacher..then we said sorry and cleared the place..ha ha..we were laughing the whole evening. There is a polytecnic in our campus,but we didn't expect such a young guy to be a teacher. It was fun,isn't?Enjoy Reading..........................

Bungy jump

                    It was my first bungy jump that too on the last day of the year.As its preplanned,i had already booked   my time-slot(thank god as it was crowded on tat day)12-1pm.We first had an overview of the bridge where am gng to jump....really it was scary..for a moment I was thinking whether to go ahead,but still somehow got spirit as its a lifetime experience. We reached the venue @11:30..made all the procedures n payments for the jump n video footage. To my surprise I was the last person in tat timeslot, we all were given instructions like how to jump keeping ur hands horizontal wise and not to look down while jumping (as it will increase the fear). Moreover i was empty stomach as i should not have any trouble while jumping so i was starving.On tat day alone nearly 200 jumps were done...cool isn't?

                       We all started marching towards the bridge.Our group covers 15 ppl with equal strength of men n women...off course we all were excited and fearful. So the countdown started...u can see each person jumping live and also on the TV over there.Some were so brave did so quickly and one girl jumped standing facing us(i guess its not her first time,u cant try these stunts in the first time itself).One guy was bit heavy(i meant his wt)..,he really looked very scary,was praying God as if he is going to end his life..ha ha hopefully he finished his turn. You will always have a tendency to look around you and see their expressions ,how they react....I should say about this lady,she was bit cool till her turn..when they called out her name,she started shivering...her jaws are just dancing(like she's too cold),but somehow managed to  look cool..At the edge,she was just dancing shakira's hip shake for the song, to come out of fear and did her bungy.

                     Finally its my turn now,enjoyed seeing everyone when they did..but when they called my name..my heart started beating lub tub...they started to tie rope in my legs..came near the edge..Crew fellows where shouting 5,4,3,2,1 BUNGY.................i jumped and was hanging down upside down still bouncing....yes my world is upside down now and only thing pulling my life is my rope in my leg..and I didnt feel it was tight like about to come out of my toes. My mind was blank,i was just enjoying the nature,suddenly a crew person came and he lifted me and landed me up safely.

            Wow I made it..it was a wonderful experience in my life and I wish to share this with the world.......u can post ur comments if u really enjoyed reading this or had an similar experience.

Today my topic is about cartoons which I enjoy most....Yes!!!

U know sometimes when u feel bored watching usual tv serials,

programs, always give a try to watch some cartoons. Off course 

Tom and Jerry tops of all,recently I was watching “Garfield”--

its a good imaginative like a cat which is very lazy and always
 loves to eat 'Lasagne'. Sometimes I wish to be like Garfield.....
ha ha.how silly it sounds..Also think whether it is possible to
 be alone with a cat and a dog.

 Nowadays lots of animated movies are seen,among them I

 loved  “Tinker bell”,”Toy story” with good work but some
 movies  like  “Alpha and Omega”,”Rio” are taken in a usual 
Bollywood masala movie stories.

First Blog

   This is my second attempt in writing blogs,but this time am going to be active. Got bored with   facebook and orkut,thought for a change why don't i blog and interact with different kinds of people. Normally am interested in reading books,wonder how they narrate and write books...after all am sure i cant write book may be i write my blog.In this digitalised world,in future my blogs can be referred in the history...Its like looking into old photo album.Feel free to correct my mistakes and improve my blogs but no personal questions please..:)
